For the promises we made

This is a song I made for the Weekly Note Composing Jam #4.
The theme was "Crystal Castle".

The word crystal castle evoked a feeling of journey for me. Walking through a snowfield and seeing a large castle looming in the distance. At some point I feel as though I lost the plot with this song, it feels more like the journey than the castle but that's ok, I had fun making it :) 

This is the longest song I ever created, and the first time using 3/4th time signature. This song went thru many, many iterations, which included a banjo, drums, and an accordion. I cut them out because I felt they made no sense. I spent a ton of time making this and I'm not sure how to feel about it. I'm glad I made it, but I'm happy to move onto other projects now, somehow I learned a lot making this. Mixing this was a nightmare.
